Accreditation body AB
The Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI) was published in September 2021. It was created by the Marketing Integrity Group (MIG) of the Construction Product Association (CPA).
For the purposes of the CCPI it defines an accreditation body (AB) as an organisation that: “Provides an independent accreditation service to determine the capability of parties to carry out matters such as testing, calibration, certification and inspection in accordance with agreed standards. E.G., the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) is the National accreditation body for the UK.”
